We have no qualms saying that they outperform any similar-looking ones on the market in Australia. After factory testing we also test each one individually before sending it, our reviews speak for themselves.
Once you set the pressure, at 5psi for example, the regulator will maintain the keg at that internal pressure for days or weeks. When you pour a beer the regulator will inject CO2 from the gas source to keep the pressure steady.
The huge benefit of this is that there are no constant adjustments necessary as you pour or between pouring beers. These regulators make it easy for anybody to pour a beer from your system so are perfect for parties, BBQs, beach days, etc.
The inlet that comes installed allows you to use standard threaded 16g or 25g CO2 cartridges.
You can add an adapter to use type 30 gas bottles (large refillable CO2 bottles) with the mini regulator on the drop-down menu (you'd have to source the gas bottle locally, they are too large to post).
You can choose to connect the regulator remotely to one or more kegs or fermenters using the drop-down menu, the gas line in the remote connection includes a duotight inline check valve to prevent liquid from coming back up the gas line and damaging the regulator. This is necessary if you want to use the keg lying down.
This item was totally zero fuss to use, I just ******* it in and it worked. That's not always the case with these sodastream / catridge regulators. This is obviously a well made piece of equipment.
If you're doing multiple kegs, i'd recommend a one-way check valve on each keg as this doesn't flow as fast as a full sized reg.
