This remote gas line is only compatible with the iKegger 2.0 Regulator. The iKegger 2.0 regulator comes with the pictured steel disconnect and a one-way valve in the box, these are not part of this package.
To expand on this, you can also add any of the adapters below using the drop-down.
- The SodaStream Adapter is the one most people want. This allows using a 400g Sodastream gas bottle as a source of CO2 instead of disposable bulbs.
- The M10 Adapter (2.2L Gas Bottles) allows the use of disposable gas bottles that have an M10 thread on them. You can get CO2, Nitrogen or Argon here. These are high capacity (the nitrogen holds the same gas as 140 x bulbs for instance!)
- The Type 30 Adapter (Large Refillable CO2 Bottles) these are the standard thread used in Australia for homebrew or pub-size CO2 bottles (often in 2.6kg, 6kg, or 8kg gas bottle sizes)
- The M11 Adapter (Disposable Nitrous Oxide Bottles) Generally come in 2 sizes; 660g (roughly 80 x 8g bulbs), or 3.3L (250 x 8g bulbs) size bottles. Great for shaken cocktails and nitro coffee.
The remote gas line goes between your keg and regulator allowing you to have them separate. Most of our kegs don't fit a SodaStream gas bottle easily directly on them so it's necessary to use the line to separate it from the keg. Because of the one-way valve included in the iKegger 2.0 regulator box you can lie the keg down and liquid can't go up the gas line to damage the regulator.
1st Time Use: Set The Adapter
- If your adapter comes with a tool you need to adjust it before 1st use.
- The pin that presses the valve on the gas bottle needs to be set to correct length.
- Put the tool into the male (thin) end of the adapter and unscrew the pin (anticlockwise) so it doesn't activate the valve when put on the gas bottle.
- Screw the adapter onto the gas bottle (SodaStream or 2.2L).
- Use the screwdriver/Allan key to screw in the pin till it makes contact with the gas bottle valve.
- Remove the adapter from the bottle, then screw the pin in another 1/4 turn.
- Put the adapter into the regulator, then attach it to the gas bottle.
- It should activate the valve now.

Great setup. Have a 2 litre for cocktails and a 5lt daisy chained up to a 19lt keg so it can be detached in a second to throw in the car fridge when heading down the beach.
