Free Shipping Option: Australian orders over $249 that don't include oversize or weight items (like fermenters & 19L kegs) will see a Free Shipping option at checkout. Unfortunately we can't offer free shipping if your cart includes these items due to the wildly varying shipping cost depending on your order and location.
Paid Shipping Options: All customers (including those orders excluded from free shipping) will also be given a live quote from Auspost Standard & Express services. These include full transit insurance which the free option doesn't and will usually be faster.
Handling Time:We aim to dispatch within 24 hours, usually same day if order is placed before 1pm. Auspost does not pick up on weekends so orders placed after 1pm Friday will be dispatched on Monday.

Returns & Warranty
We do our best to pack quickly and accurately and we sell gear that's virtually unbreakable. However there is always going to be some exceptions. How we deal with those is where iKegger shines!
See here for a video of how to use simply and easily without a pressure gauge
While this spunding valve may look a little clunky compared to the more common brass one with the poppet valve on the end after a lot of testing we believe this to be a superior design.
The diaphragm valve is much more accurate and allows for extremely precise adjustments of the outlet pressure.
A spunding valve is an adjustable pressure relief valve, they are most commonly used to do keg to keg transfers of carbonated liquid under pressure.
To do this attach your regulator to the full vessels gas inlet post (snub nose for instance) then join the 2 liquid post together with 2 liquid disconnects and a length of beer line.
Attach the spunding valve with a gas disconnect to the empty vessel (mini keg for example).
Set the pressure on the regulator to 12-15psi and then unwind the spunding valve until gas begins to vent. Set pressure to 8-10psi on it and the liquid will transfer across under pressure without losing any carbonation.
It can also be used to set a release point for pressure in a pressure fermenter, this is very useful as you can set it to the correct psi (depending on fermentation temperature and beer style - see this page for more details) and once finished the beer will already be carbonated (you will need to either chill the fermenter to allow the liquid to hold carbonation while you bottle or use the method outlined above to transfer under pressure to stop it losing the carbonation while warm though.
The cheaper option without the gauge works a treat when you follow the easy video instructions.
Arrived fast, works perfectly, very happy
Good item though it doesn't have the pressure gauge which is crucial to effective use of a sounding valve. Photos of reviewers show this valve as does the review request though the product does not include. I've spent extra money elsewhere to get a tee and pressure gauge to use effectively.
Hi, The image on the product page you purchased from doesn't have a pressure gauge and the price has been discounted by 25% to reflect this. There is also a link to a video where I show you how to set the pressure release without the gauge at the top of the page. We stopped including the gauge as they are not needed and likely to get damaged by people not reading instructions or information before using...
Definitely a must in home brewing. Very useful tool to set at many times during the whole process. Thanks for recommending exactly what we needed.
Brilliant piece of kit. Accurate and easy to use. A must when pressure fermenting. Fast efficient delivery too. All good
