Sodium percarbonate is useful as both a cleaner and a sanitizer.
- For general cleaning use 10g per 3L of warm water. Let parts soak for 10min, and then rinse off.
- For beer line & deep cleaning use 30g per 3L of warm water. Draw through line then let soak for 10min. Switch to fresh water and draw through system until the liquid coming from tap no longer feels slippery.
Sodium percarbonate is a very effective cleaner and can penetrate and remove dry yeast, beer stone, etc.
- While it does degrade over time into safe components (oxygen, sodium carbonate, and water) it is not a no-rinse sanitizer. For that, you should use a phosphoric acid-based sanitiser at the correct dilution.
Sodium percarbonate actively attacks any impurities on surfaces making it easy to simply rinse them off with clean water after 10-20min, depending on how caked on it is.

When will it arrive?
We pack and dispatch from Sydney within 24 hours on weekdays. Couriers don't collect on weekends, so orders after midday Friday go out on Monday.
Is shipping free?
Standard shipping is free in Australia on orders over $249. Orders with large, heavy or dangerous goods items are excluded and show live courier quotes at checkout. We also ship worldwide, with free shipping over $299 NZD to New Zealand, $299 USD to the United States and £249 to the United Kingdom. Can I return it?
Yes. Returns are accepted within 30 days for change of mind. Email info@ikegger.com and we'll send a return label (its cost comes off your refund). There's no restocking fee for unused items. Gas and cleaning products are consumables and generally can't be returned.
What's the warranty?
All iKegger mini kegs have a 5-year warranty. The tap system, regulator and everything else we sell has a 1-year warranty. Email us a photo of the issue and we'll refund or replace.
