How to choose the right keg for him

Start with his drink

Every iKegger uses the same push-button tap system, but the bundles are tuned to the drink: CO2 for beer and soda, nitrogen or nitrous oxide for nitro coffee, stouts and espresso martinis. If heโ€™s into all of it, the Any Drink Bundle includes every gas type plus the SodaStream adapter.

Then the size

  • 2L โ€” about 6 stubbies or 15 cocktails. Great for one or two people.
  • 5L โ€” about 15 stubbies. The sweet spot for barbecues.
  • 10L โ€” about 30 stubbies. Two of them fit in a standard bar fridge.

Then where he drinks

Kegs pour upright or lying down, so they slide onto any fridge shelf. Got a shed with a bar fridge? The Mini Kegerator Kit puts two drinks on tap without drilling. Always out bush? The Kings Kegerator Kit turns a 12V camping fridge into a kegerator.

Plenty of our customers never put beer in theirs. The same keg pours cocktails, nitro cold brew, kombucha and homemade soda โ€” the Cocktail, Nitro Coffee and Any Drink bundles are set up for exactly that.

Unused items can be returned within 30 days. Check our returns policy for the details.

Does it need a special fridge?

No. The kegs pour upright or lying on their side, so they fit on a normal fridge shelf.
