27L Brewzilla fermenter

Fermzilla standard air lock lid

The standard lid has a simple air lock that allows CO2 to escape during brewing but no air to get in.

Fermzilla plastic pressure kit

The airlock can be replaced with plastic or steel posts with valves and a floating dip tube.

Fermzilla steel pressure kit

These are the same connection as most home brew kegs and allow the benefits listed above.

Consistently Superior Fermentation

The Fermillza has become my preferred fermentation vessel. It has produced our best brews after a long experience with an alternative system that while it had produced good results doesn’t match the quality of outcomes achieved with the Fermzilla. I think it’s the pressure fermentation that has made the difference to our outcomes. Further, the unitank system minimises handling and transfer. It produces a carbonated and chilled beer from one tank.

Fermzilla Pressure fermenter 27L

I have found the Zilla to be a fantastic product , ikegger had the Zilla in the post and at my door in just a couple of days , setting up the fermenter was a breeze , and my first batch went without a problem , I have heard of people having problems with them ,but it seems to be user mistakes rather than the product . Highly recommended .

Overall, the setup and use of the Fermzilla is veru easy, Found out during my first brew that I had a leak from the pressure cap, re-seated lid and all good now. More brews to come. YUM

The real kit

I have used the fermentasaurus for the past 2 years and it’s been excellent. However, the usual problem of cleaning properly can be difficult due to the restricted size of the openings. The butterfly valve often blocks. None of these are major faults, but they are irritating. The fermzilla addresses everyone of these issues. The first thing you notice is that it is a strong, substantive piece of kit. Structurally stronger with what appears to be an industrial valve. The openings are big enough to insert your hand, excellent for proper cleaning. Overall this appears light years ahead of its predecessor. I have no doubt that there are many more things that can be done with the beast, however, I need to expand my knowledge on brewing.
