I have used the fermentasaurus for the past 2 years and it’s been excellent. However, the usual problem of cleaning properly can be difficult due to the restricted size of the openings. The butterfly valve often blocks. None of these are major faults, but they are irritating.
The fermzilla addresses everyone of these issues. The first thing you notice is that it is a strong, substantive piece of kit. Structurally stronger with what appears to be an industrial valve. The openings are big enough to insert your hand, excellent for proper cleaning.
Overall this appears light years ahead of its predecessor. I have no doubt that there are many more things that can be done with the beast, however, I need to expand my knowledge on brewing.
