The Raffle Prize - The Fire Fighter Pack

Perfect for fighting the heat this summer

  • Take it to a mates place
  • Take it camping
  • Great for handing out samples of a drink (soda, kombucha etc)
  • Take it to your local fire station and be their hero for an afternoon
  • Use it to fight spot fires in your backyard (it is probably more effective than some of the options I saw people resorting to but we recommend having a better plan than this)
  • Have a beer, cider or soft drink on tap and mobile anywhere
  • With the 10L and 4L version you can have beer on one gun and aperol spritz on the other!
  • Prize includes

    • 1 x 19L keg
    • Mini regulator and sodastream gas bottle adapter

Far South Coast NSW Bushfire Victims Raffle

Most of you probably don't know but I'm originally from Tilba, a tiny heritage listed village on the far south coast of NSW. My parents still live in the area and so it is where I was for Christmas. When we found out the fires were headed our way I stayed to help prepare my parents house and fight if necessary. It was by far the most stressful fortnight to start a new decade I can imagine.

My town is in the heart of the area decimated by the bushfires. The town the woman that our PM tried to force a handshake on is in the town my first girlfriend was from (Cobargo), the one where the zoo keepers fought to save all the animals while the towns main street and houses burnt is where I took my whole family for a Christmas present last year (Mogo). The town completely wiped out, leaving barely a house standing is where my parents had their first house and were married (Nerrigundah).

By the luck of the wind changing direction at the last minute our little village is safe for now but many people around me were not so lucky, losing loved ones, homes and businesses.

Some of them I knew well, went to school with, bought things from in local shops. This raffle is for some of them.

Gale and Charlie Dunn - Who's kids I went to school with and who lost their house and everything they own.

Gaila Schaefer - Who worked at the little art gallery in my tiny village for as long as I can remember and who lost everything except the clothes she was wearing.

The money raised in this raffle will go directly to them via direct deposit into their bank accounts to avoid the admin fees etc of charity and go fund me pages (both of them have live fundraising pages if you would like to look).

I guess you'll have to trust that I would never use something like this for my own gain.

    Bush fire raffle

I bought tickets in this because I knew the money was going to people who needed it and not being skimmed or put away for a rainy day. Help to those who need it. Great work IKegger
