Bottle is sold filled with CO2. We may not be able to ship to remote areas or have to charge an extra fee due to carrier restrictions on compressed gas bottles.
Enough gas in each refill to be able to carbonate and dispense around 200L of beer or dispense 400L of already carbonated beer!
That'll keep you going for a while!
These bottles weigh 10kg when full of 2.6kg of CO2 so they are not exactly an easily portable solution for our mini keg systems.
They do however generally cost around $30-40 to refill for the equivalent of 6.5 sodastream bottles so they are much more economical for usage at home.
To prevent prematurely emptying your cylinder it is highly recommended to thoroughly check for leaks on your whole system before leaving the gas turned on, while force carbonating for example.
Helps a lot with CO2 on stand by when making 19L brew beer plus its cheaper to refill then buy constant small bottles.
Good product that works as intended. Be mindful to re-tighten connection once it has been in use for a day or two.
Bloody good. Received order in regional NSW within 1 week. Also got some good advice and ordered / received a suitable adapter to suit a Sodastream gas cylinder which is currently in use. We now have a local home brew shop that can refill 2.6kg so I will be using that soon for the kegerator.
Ordered and dispatch was very fast. Had a warranty issue on one item, this was dealt with very fast and no hassle at all, which shows Ikeeger are doing everything right.
